8th February 2004 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 20- 38 Surf / Sea State: wind chop Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Another good day at the office(if only I windsurfed for a living). My car was being blown all over the motorway on the drive up to Brog so I knew it was gonna be windy. I arrived about 10 I was gonna rig my 5.8 but someone already out came in to changed down to a 4.7, As my smallest sail is a 5.3 it had to be that! On my first run out the wind went mental it was so hairy it was unreal.........but good fun As the morning went on it turned into perfect 5.3 weather just over powerd at times a couple of times VERY over powered! I had my first really big caterpult in ages a real hum dinger. In the afternoon the wind turned a bit more notherly and dropped of a bit with a lot of lulls in it decided to call it a day as I had already had a good day. Over all a very good days sailing |
